Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party results provider. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.
Automatically Collected Data
Hosting systems create normal server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We review this at an aggregate level for operation and page-use trends. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How Data Is Used
We use the limited data described here to operate the service, diagnose issues, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Links may lead to Morris County or New Jersey records portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. Each external service controls its own privacy practice. That includes sponsored results supplied by a third party.
Who Processes Data
Hosting and support providers process server-log data for us. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We disclose data only when a valid legal process requires disclosure.
Data Safeguards
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described above. No visitor account, password, or on-site personal profile is created here.
Visitors Under 18
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor provided information, and we will remove it.
Your Information Choices
Depending on where you live, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data a website holds. New Jersey did not supply a comprehensive consumer-privacy statute in the research used for this service, so this policy keeps that general rights language rather than claiming a state-specific right. Because we retain very little, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and applicable logs, then removing information found there. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by New Jersey, Morris County, or Rockaway Township custodians are outside our control; direct removal or correction requests to the custodian, including a request under the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, N.J.S.A. 47:1A-1 et seq., when appropriate.
Policy Updates
Changes to this policy will appear here. Continued use after a posted change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
